Tag Heuer CAV511B.FC6231 Grand Carrera Calibre 17 Chronograph Men’s Watch

The Grand Carrera CAV511B is a stylish and upscale watch that is good for just about any occasion.  Worn for business engagements, social events and leisure it is appealing with any kind of attire.

It has a light silver grey face that is neutral, is very easy to read and features two chronographs… one for seconds at the 3:00 o’clock position and one for minutes at the 9:00 o’clock position.  The date is located in the 6:00 o’clock position.

The hands are luminous and precise to the second and the watch features automatic movement.  There is also a tachymeter around the face of the watch.

The band is made of dark brown leather with a deployment clasp with push button buckle (see diagram below).  It is 21.5 mm wide.

The Tag Heuer logo is subtly placed in the upper center of the face, in muted silver tones.

The casing is stainless steel, 43mm in diameter and is 14.85mm in thickness.

Lastly, the dial window is made of extremely clear and hard sapphire crystal.

The 3 buttons on the right side of the watch are all screw down and the upper and lower buttons control the minutes and seconds chronographs.  The center controls the hour and minute hands.

This Tag Heuer Grand Carrera watch is water resistant to 300 meters.  Generally, if a watch is water resistant to 100 meters it is safe in shallow water for swimming, snorkeling and surface scuba diving.  It is not recommended for deep dives.
